What is Vellco Finance?+
Vellco Finance is a modern digital banking platform operated by VELLCO HOLDINGS LIMITED (company number 06189665, registered in England and Wales). We offer multi-currency accounts, debit and prepaid cards, international transfers, crypto trading and personal credit — all available from a single app or web dashboard.
Is Vellco Finance a bank?+
Vellco Finance is a digital financial services platform. We provide bank-like services including account management, payments and card issuance. Our regulatory status and the protections that apply to your funds are detailed in the Terms of Service. We recommend reading them carefully before opening an account.
Which countries are supported?+
Vellco Finance is available to residents of the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area (EEA) and a number of other jurisdictions. Availability may vary by product. During registration you will be asked to confirm your country of residence.
Is there an age requirement?+
Yes. To open a personal or business account with Vellco Finance you must be at least 18 years old.
How do I open an account?+
Go to the registration page and follow the step-by-step process. You will need your name, email address, date of birth and an identity document. Most applications are approved within minutes. The account is fully activated after identity verification is complete.
AAccounts & transfers
Will I get a real IBAN?+
Yes. Every personal and business account includes a dedicated European IBAN (International Bank Account Number). You can use this IBAN to receive salary payments, set up direct debits and bank transfers — just like a traditional bank account.
In which currencies can I hold funds?+
Depending on your plan, you can hold between 5 and 35+ currencies at the same time. All plans support EUR, USD and GBP as a minimum. The full list of supported currencies is shown in the Currencies section of your account.
Are the exchange rates fair?+
We use the mid-market interbank rate as the basis for all conversions. A small margin applies depending on your plan — it is always shown transparently before you confirm a conversion. Premium plan holders enjoy significantly reduced margins, and some conversions are entirely free.
How fast are SEPA transfers?+
Outgoing SEPA Instant transfers typically arrive within seconds. Standard SEPA transfers take 1 business day. International (SWIFT) transfers usually take 1–3 business days depending on the destination country and correspondent banks.
Can I receive my salary into my Vellco account?+
Yes. Your Vellco IBAN works just like a standard bank account for incoming transfers. Simply give your IBAN and BIC to your employer or any institution sending you money.
Why has my transfer been delayed?+
Transfers may be delayed for security checks, anti-money laundering (AML) reviews or if additional documentation is required. If your transfer is delayed you will receive a notification with details. Contact support if you need assistance.
CCards
What types of card are available?+
We offer physical debit/prepaid cards (Standard and Premium/metal tiers), virtual cards (available instantly in the app) and corporate team cards. Available cards depend on your plan and account type.
How quickly does a physical card arrive?+
Physical cards are typically delivered within 3–7 business days by tracked mail. Delivery times may vary by country.
Can I use my card abroad?+
Yes. Your Vellco card is accepted at all Mastercard/Visa merchants worldwide — in stores, online and at ATMs. Currency conversion is applied automatically at the current rate if you pay in a currency you do not hold in your account.
What are the ATM withdrawal limits?+
Standard plan: up to € 200 free per month (2% fee after that). Plus plan: up to € 800 free per month. Premium plan: unlimited free withdrawals worldwide. Exact limits are shown in your account settings.
How do I freeze my card?+
Open the app, go to the Cards section, select your card and tap Freeze. The card is frozen instantly. You can unfreeze it at any time with a single tap. Freezing does not affect recurring payments you have already set up.
What should I do if my card is lost or stolen?+
Freeze your card immediately via the app. Then contact support to request a replacement. A new physical card will be issued and sent to your registered address. Virtual cards are reissued instantly.
CCrypto
Which cryptocurrencies are supported?+
We currently support Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Tether (USDT), USD Coin (USDC), BNB and Solana (SOL). Additional assets may be added over time. The current list is always available in the Crypto section of the app.
How do I buy cryptocurrency?+
Go to the Crypto section in the app, select an asset, enter the amount in EUR, GBP or USD and confirm. The purchase is made instantly at the current market rate. A small fee applies and is shown before you confirm.
Can I send crypto to an external wallet?+
Yes. Go to Crypto, select the asset, tap Send and enter the destination wallet address and network. Always double-check the address and network before sending — crypto transactions are irreversible.
Is my crypto stored securely?+
Crypto assets are held in institutional-grade custody infrastructure with multi-signature key management. A portion of assets is kept in cold storage at all times. We do not lend or rehypothecate client crypto holdings.
How do I convert crypto to fiat?+
Select the crypto asset, tap Convert to fiat, choose the currency and amount. Converted funds are credited to your account immediately at the current rate.
Are crypto assets covered by a deposit guarantee scheme?+
No. Crypto assets are not covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) or similar deposit protection schemes. The value of crypto can go up as well as down. Capital is at risk.
LLoans
Can I apply for a personal loan?+
Loan eligibility is determined by a credit assessment. We take into account your Vellco account history, income, existing obligations and credit bureau data. Not all applicants are approved. Submitting an application does not guarantee approval.
What amounts and terms are available?+
Personal loans range from € 500 to € 25,000 with terms of 3 to 60 months. Your specific offer depends on your credit assessment result.
How is the interest rate calculated?+
Your loan interest rate is personalised based on your credit profile. The full cost of the loan — including APR, total amount repayable and monthly payment — is always shown in full before signing. We do not charge early repayment fees.
How do I apply for a loan?+
Go to the Loans section in the app and tap Apply. The process takes about 5 minutes. You will see your offer and full repayment schedule before signing. If approved, funds are credited to your account immediately.
Can I repay my loan early?+
Yes. You can make a partial or full early repayment at any time via the Loans section of the app. No early repayment penalty applies.
SSecurity & privacy
How is my account protected?+
Your account is protected by end-to-end AES-256 encryption, biometric authentication (Face ID / fingerprint), trusted device management and real-time fraud monitoring. Every transaction is accompanied by an instant push notification.
What should I do if I receive a suspicious message claiming to be from Vellco?+
Do not click any links or provide any information. Vellco Finance never asks for your full password, PIN or card number by email, SMS or phone. Report suspicious messages immediately to security@vellco.com.
How do I change my password or PIN?+
Go to the Profile section of the app, select Security and follow the instructions to change your password or PIN. Identity verification via biometrics or a one-time code is required.
Can I see which devices have accessed my account?+
Yes. Go to Profile > Security > Trusted Devices. You can see all devices that have logged into your account and revoke access for any of them instantly.
How do I delete my account and data?+
You can request account closure and data deletion from Profile > Account Settings > Close Account. We are required to retain certain financial records by law (minimum 5 years), but all non-mandatory data is deleted within 30 days of the request.
How do I access my personal data (GDPR)?+
You can submit a data access request by emailing privacy@vellco.finance with the subject line "Data Access Request". We will respond within 30 days with all personal data we hold.
